All mothers go through it. The million things that we do for our children, our home, our spouses, our friends, animals, etc.
Here's a snap shot of my day today...
Both babies have fevers. My 3 year old
and 18 month old.
They get
the "cling-on syndrome" during times of sickness. Tried to straighten up house as to not scare baby sitter. Got 3 year old to the doctor. He has no clue as to why the fevers. Ear infection? Bladder infection?
Plague? hmmm...Let's get a urine sample. Let's pee in the pan sweetie. Ooops. pan falls into water. Let's try again, nope not even a drop mommy. OK, better give an antibiotic that will cover everthing. OK, off to the pharmacy.
Stopped at store to get diapers, milk, juicy juice and cookies. Diapers and milk are extremely heavy while carrying them along with 35 pound toddler.
My right arm bicep is noticeably larger than my left. This causes my back to go into spasm, which in turn causes me to ask for muscle relaxants from doctor. These are also helpful while my children have the "cling-on syndrome".
Got home. Baby freaking out with baby sitter. Starts crying and wants to be held while I'm trying to put things away. Check baby's temperature with rectal thermometer, yep, 101. Baby freaks out with thermometer and throws up the milk, raisins and apple juice fed to him by babysitter.
Babysitter freaks out and goes home.Get tylenol into both babies. They calm down and watch Balto. Whew! I can eat my cold Arby's sandwich and wash down a muscle relaxant with a juicy juice.
Just a snap shot of my day, there will be more to come. Thanks for stopping by.
