Being a mother includes many daily tasks. Men wonder what we do staying at home. Most men don't think of doing certain things that make a house a home - women do all of those "little things". My husband is probably like most men. Here is a tiny sampling of those "little things" he would never do...
1. Clean out the crumbs from a toaster.
2. Let the babies unravel 3 rolls of toilet paper and empty the contents under the bathroom sink. (to keep them occupied while I go to the bathroom)
3. Clean the crud behind the knobs on the oven.
4. Think..."maybe I should wash the kid's sticky hands and faces before letting them play in the dirt."
5. Organize the kid's play animals - dinosaurs, farm animals, safari animals, etc.
6. Check on the babies at night - even though they haven't made a peep.
7. Think of the hazards of bringing a live turtle in the house for the kids to play with, then build a home for the poor creature.
8. Clean the dust off of the fan blades.
9. Suction snot out of the baby's nose.
10. Wash, dry and put away Barbie clothes.
